With spring being the time of birth, summer certainly is the time of growth when every little thing in nature is bursting with life. A dandelion just may be a perfect representative of one of these little things showing the splendor of life and growth.
Here it is … a dandelion after it has reached the end of its growth cycle, just before being blown on the wind ….
Blow on it … Make a wish! While you are at it, listen to The Rolling Stones’ Dandelion.
Hey Poul, someone entered me in a photography contest at the Dark Globe here and I was wondering if you would give me your vote there for this post. The link is provided in the last sentence just above the pictures. Thank you π
If it’s really growth – yeah – the answer is blowing in the wind – when they come floating in the larger clouds of seeds – so it can be a beautiful sight – if one don’t have a lawn… π
π I am getting a tiny bit narcisistic about these shots… I have been replying to comments absorbing my own frames and at one point I caught myself saying:: paula you are a genius :D. The fact is I did not have to crop these and I felt proud :). But you should see some other crappy shots I have π from a bronze statue near my work. Genius can’t strike you every day, right?
Oh shoot, Arlen, listen.. this means a lot coming from you, but as from the start I declined every single award that came my way .. it was Versatile Blogger Award – twice, Lovely Blog Award, and there was Inspiring Blogger Award.. how can I say “yes” now to you. If you want to know what I think of these nominations, I ask you to come to my blog and look for them. I am aware you find my blog worth the award, but I don’t think right in accepting it. Everyone does what they can with their personal virtual space, and rating it in some way is not right to me. My award is that you have recognized my page as one worth seeing/reading/listening and I beg you not to be offended with my declination. Please accept my appologies. Hugs, Paula

Today hasn’t been that great .. a big panick at the office, laying off people, reorganization, everyone is biting and wanting to stab the next person :S. On top of all that who gets to stay in the company will have a significant pay cut, and I would hate to think I will not be able to travel any more π¦
π Well. I hope I am seen OK there. What about your futur it will be bright, seccessful, full of intersting trips, travellings and, of course, nice photos. Wish you all the best.
Would you give me your vote at the Dark Globe for the photography contest … I did not apply but they entered me :D. The link is in this post just above the pics. Thanks CG π
I am a Government employee. But it is not connected with my blog and my creative activity, that is why I do not note about that. These are separate spheres.
I can understand. I also work (as a translator) for a company that is about to become a government agency, and all decisions about our jobs are made by the government…..
What camera did you use for this Paula?

Canon PowerShot G1 x, but hubby got me some macro filters… and I used NL-10 B+W.
