WoW!!!! It is beautiful!!!! Looks like a painting!!!
Te agradezco mucho Ilargia, y te voy a creer :).
That is gorgeous.
I appreciate it a lot, Joseph. Happy Sunday!
Most welcome. It has been a grand Sunday indeed!
Das ist sehr schön tolle Bilder lieber Gruß von mir Gislinde
Danke schon Gislinde 🙂
Incredible Paula, this is a magnificent image it’s absolutely beautiful and I love landscape images in monochrome, for me they work so well. Have a great day 🙂
🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 You too, Mark, have a fabulous day!
I’m in Awe!!! Thank you for taking us there!
I will take you places, baby 😀 Thank you 🙂
😀 Happy day, dear 🙂
Have to echo Amy’s words!!! Those reflections are just unbelievable!
Cheers, Madhu 🙂
How can one resist such a mighty picture like that…Oh, mountains. You always fuel my feet and muse.
Black and white have this exquisite appeal that just make the subject in a photo more dramatic. They give this certain form of subtlety that is simply attractive.
You are very eloquent, Sony. How can I thank you 🙂
The pleasure is mine, Paula. No worries.
Have you ever been to Braies, Alessandro?
Not yet. But, thanks to you, it’s on my list now… 😉
This is an amazing photo!
Thank you Tim 🙂 or you prefer Timecolllage? 😀
Hihi, I prefer Timecollage, or better yet, Laura!
😀 Nice to meet you, Laura 😀
Nice to meet you too, Paula 😀

Thank you very much 🙂

This is an exquisite scene, Paula. Yes, i did enjoy your music too. 🙂
Stay tuned dear Sylvia. I have a feeling you will like the next post’s tune even more 😉
an exceptional and dreamy landscape; beautifully photographed!!
Thank you so much dear Eddie 🙂
It’s a good idea to regularly post black & white photos. I think I’ll copy your idea.
B&W makes you see the photos with a different mindset. Great image you’ve posted.
Kyss? Do I get one too? X 🙂
I love this image, Paual, it’sbrilliant and the music is divine too.
Sorry, sorry, sorry I forgot you were a Norwegian beauty. Here is a kyss and if you teach me I will give you a Norwegian hug too :). You make me smile – every time xo
Watch it; her kommer en stor *klem* til deg, Paula!
Dina x 🙂
😀 Stor klem, Dina 🙂 🙂 🙂 Takk 😀
Ja, STOR KLEM, Paula. 🙂
Ha en fin kveld! 🙂
Fin kveld, Hanne 🙂
Astonishing concept .Uniqueness of black and white, white , the boat and the mountains reflect solitude . Have a grand day Paula. jalal
Stunning! Well composed, B&W is the perfect choice, though I bet it looks equally as spectacular in color. Absolutely amazing.
Ah, this is a gem! B&W really works here.
Thank you so much Uday. I always appreciate your comments 🙂
WOW! That’s stunning, Paula!
You should have seen in it person 😉 Thank you, Stephen 🙂
I know. No matter how stunning a shot we capture, it still will never be a great as being there in person. Sigh.
Wonderful picture, Paula! It suits being black and white perfectly.
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thank you so much, Wendy for coming over 🙂 I am glad you like the pic 🙂
so beautiful 🙂
Thanks, Joshi 🙂

Beautiful image! Perfect in black and white.
Much appreciated, Beth 🙂 Is this your dog in the gravatar photo?
Wonderful image. Love it in black and white, Paula.
Thank you, Jane. Nature is my greatest inspiration.
Fantastic! Would love to know your post-processing workflow!
🙂 Thank you. B&W conversion with hdr 😉
Do you do the HDR combination before you convert to B&W or after? I use two different programs in the NIK package for this, and tend to do the HDR first, then convert the completed HDR with Silver Efex Pro. I am never totally satisfied.
This one is an old photo taken by canon ixus and it was only an jpg. I did hdr in post processing, but it was a good photo to start with. Now when I use my canon rebel I tend to do bracketing.
Waouh ! Impressive and beautiful picture ! :O 🙂
Thank you so much 🙂
I love how you put something else in your photos. This photo of the mountains and lake gives the mind a story to play with in the placement of the boat in the photo. Intuitive, Paula!
I wish I had been the one to drag that boat into the frame, but it was just lying there 🙂 Thank you dear Annie. I agree it is an eye-catching photo and very popular among my readers 🙂
I think I was there years ago with my parents, is it the “Pragser Wildsee” ?
Yes, it is also known by that name 🙂
I would love to visit the dolomite area, it always looks so inspiring in photos. Really like the B&W here, the boat in the foreground is just perfect.
Dolomite area hides some real gems :), especially if you like emerald lakes 😀
This is glorious! As the line in 30 Rock is : “I want to go to there”
and you should 🙂 Absolutely 🙂
wow!!! awesome X 3!!!
😀 Thank you, Stephen for triple awesome 🙂 My favourite lake, too 🙂
This is very beautiful! Perfect scene for black and white.
Thank you, Michael 🙂
