Here are some photos I took a year ago in Rome. Would you join me for a walk along the Tiber and over to picturesque piazzas and promenades of this eternal city?
Julie, I am a complete moron today… (pmsing) The music references I gave you here go with my photo of teatro olimpico; in this one it is Alan Parsons Project – In the lap of Gods. Desolee…
Hi Paula, I just discovered your blog and I love it 🙂 These images are very beautiful. The view from Pincio and the ponte Fabricio are superb, the sky in these photos is wonderful 🙂
The light you caught is wonderful in these photos. They take me on a memory trip to my last visit two years ago….I loved it then and a I love it through your lens Paula 🙂
One of the saddest parts of war is the destruction of art. In the end, was it worth it? I am not sure, but I do know that looting and defacing art is a moral kind of crime.
I’ve only been once but only through work on a short trip so would love to go again. Only got one shot I was happy to put up. Your photos make me desperate to go back properly 🙂
Dear Alex, I wish I could hang more on your blog now, but I am working 12 hours a day this week. Comments like yours do cheer me up :). I wish you could visit Rome soon, preferably outside the typical tourist season and in nice weather 🙂 Warm regards, Paula
I look forward to your comments and opinions in the future. I know that feeling of being overworked only too well! Just promise to keep taking loads of photos!
THANK YOU 🙂 I will put more pics of Rome and links to it and other parts of Italy in my Travel/Italy section next weekend so that you can join me for more walks, Alex. Thank you for the “follow” too. It is very nice corresponding with you 🙂

Beautiful. This is what I love about Europe: the history that is shown in its architecture and the sculptures that are casually placed along piazzas.
