What a place….what a scenery… And I can only agree about summer – it really is too far away! This feeling suddenly became very strong, looking at your photo. π
Yeah one of my “oldest” and best friends (known each other since we started school together as two nice well-behaved boys) he has “scored over ability” and has since he was 22 lived in this area all because of a local dark-haired beauty – actually the reason why I understand the Italian language… π π π
Wow! The Pearl of the Lake.
I’m going back in April and I can’t wait to walk those narrow cobbled streets, and drink a beer in the sports bar.
Thanks for brightening my Monday.
π thank you very much Stephen. I’ve had (having) some rough busy time at work, and that explains my scarce activity here :(. I am always happy to see you visiting and would like to return the visit soon.
I have just compared the info of Great Lakes with Como. Como lake is much smaller with a surface area of 146 km 2 π I am happy you like the pic Annie. I know you liked the movie π
Thank you for the update, Paula. 90 square miles is still fairly large. And so many towns and villages around the lake. The more I learn about Lake Como the more fascinating it is to me.
