New post in New Year

This is not a New Moon; It is just a half moon, but taken on the first day of the New Year and with an old, but newly acquired lens.

  1. Once again you have created such a beautiful mood with your choice of photo, combined with music, Paula. A great shot to begin this year with!
PS: Congrats on the new lense – I am sure it will come in handy often! πŸ˜‰

  2. Very nice. Astronomical photography is something I would like to do also, and I really like the music you added. I tried inserting a music bar like yours the other day, but WordPress didn’t let me, I don’t know if these music bars require a different subscription or an upgrade? Well, anyway, thanks for sharing this, very beautiful and inspiring.

    • Hi Maria, I have to pay for the space upgrade to be able to insert music from my music library (about $20 a year). The other way is to enclose links from soundcloud or some other site. let me know if you need my help πŸ™‚

    • I don’t know for what :S. If I lived in Florida I would hide in some bush with this lens on a tripod hoping to capture an alligator, but here I can only hope to capture the Moon from time to time πŸ˜‰

      • But the moon has so many beautiful phases . . . you should see my absolutely wobbly awful moon shots 😦
Actually, you will never have to worry about seeing them, the delete button is my friend. πŸ™‚

        • Ah, Patty you have the sensibility any artist would kill for, you should not worry about such things. I am not a street person like you are. Except for my travels, my wanderings are limited to trips to office and back home. Hence my exploration of out of window photography, or even better my inside macro shots πŸ™‚

  3. If I were a wolf then I’d howl at the moon now… πŸ˜€

Probably the moon isn’t new when it pops up almost every night, but only newborn – but it doesn’t matter at all, it is fascinating nonetheless… πŸ˜€

Very well captured, inspiring idea… πŸ™‚

Poi sono solo rimasta ammirata dalla tua foto e dalla tua musica!

  5. Tell us more about the old, but newly acquired lens! “We” are curious!
Brilliant moon photo. With my lens the moon just turns into a small pixel fart.

  8. Happy New Year to you Paula! Very nice music selection to go with your image. I was hoping to post during my time off but time got away from me, hoping to do so next weekend. Looking forward to seeing more beautiful images paired with some great music from you this year.
