    • 🙂 I was in Rome only once and despite many obstacles on our trip it was wonderful, so wonderful that I am afraid to go back in fear it would spoil my earlier memories 😀

  1. This is a great take on the challenge,Paula. You bridge looks fabulous! Love the music and the rhythm, what am I listening to?
Hope you get rid off your cold very soon! Bonn is very warm at the moment, sending you warm regards and sunny spells,

    • Hi Dina, thank you for the wishes. I will recover in a jiffy – it is justa weather shock, just a few days ago we were in Lisabon at 36 Celsius and now it is 11 Celsius in Zagreb. You are listening to Biagio Antonacci – Ti penso raramente. A catchy tune, isn’t it? 🙂

  2. Still on my ‘list’ 🙂 Reminds me of the bridge at Avignon. Not been there either. 🙂
How are you settling back into life, Paula?

    • Hi Jo, I am a bit overwhelmed with all the backlog at work, and touched that so many co-workers needed me – makes me think I won’t lose my job any time soon :D. Both hubby and I suffered a tremendous temperature shock and are with cold now, but I plan to be well by tomorrow morning – to many things to do to be lying around. How are you?

      • That’s a good feeling- to have been missed and needed. Family crisis ongoing with my daughter which I’m powerless to help with but otherwise fine. Get well again soon. (incidentally- have you been nominated for the 5 photos/5 stories challenge, and would you want to be?) Hugs, Paula!

        • No, no, I don’t want to – it would be flattering and you are the only one to think of nominating me so big thanks – I am a bit overwhelmed with my chores now. What’s going on with Lisa? I hope it is not the health issue? I won’t pry, but you got me worried.

      • Yeah just at this moment relaxing with a strong drink after yesterday a sandy day… 😀

Tomorrow the coast are waiting and sunday so it’s back to France… 🙂

        • When you say a sandy day, are you implying that you were in a sand storm, or just desert as the one you sent me? 😀 What do they use as a strong drink over there?

          • No storm at all, so boring lazy wind – but hot… 😀

A kind of grappa or brandy – the fruits from the date palms tastes amazing this way… 😀

                • I thought there was a limit to alcoholic beverages of 40%. I was once at a party where they served 50% smirnoff – I don’t want to repeat that.

                  • Black Smirnoff is 80 – some countries have limits not all – the home made stuff in Norway sometimes close to 90 – we have to know not drink to much and not to fast – we have to remember to enjoy it… 😀

                    • Just have to merely “moisturize” lips – don’t dump it in the throat as if it was water… 🙂

                    • Have heard about it – but I love the taste of coffee – was two years old when I tasted it first time… 🙂

I know yoga is great – but too little movement for a guy like me, so I have my black mountainbike – it do the same the sweaty way… 🙂

                    • I started both alcohol and coffee when I was three 😛 Sweat is great but one needs to stretch and breathe slowly also. 🙂

                    • You are right about that – “after-biking” is always to remember to stretch – and most mountain bikers do breath slowly otherwise they go ‘dead’ very fast.

                    • What do you do in winter when you can’t bike? Do you ski or do stationary bike?

                    • Stationary bike – no way… 😀

Kaysersberg in Alsace is close to places for ski or snowboard – I’m not a fanatic but loves good food and wine – but still want to be the one who doesn’t get out of breath on the stairs – that’s the reason why have my bikes and my snowboard… 🙂

  6. A far more complex image than usual Paula, showing so much detail in every dimension, reflecting the long history of the subject. It’s still very much there.
