Twice a month or more I invite blogger friends to host a guest photo challenge on my blog. This Thursday the guest challenger is Yvette who has just started a new blog highwaysandtrails.wordpress.com. You may know her from priorhouse.org. • They turned out very candid and relaxed Debbie, despite being aware of having their photo taken. You must have charmed them 🙂 Great gallery!

    • Fitness magazine? 😉 LIsa, thank you for sharing this special post with us. The entire series is excellent, but I picked one photo that I especially like to display here 🙂

      • You’ve got a great eye Paula. I just had a walk through of all of the other submissions to this challenge and 9 times out of 10, the one that you picked to display was my favorite of the post. Was such a treat to ‘meet’ so many great photographers through this challenge (as well as see some wonderful images from old friends). I’ll be back. Thanks again.

  5. My worst subject in all the world, Paula- I groaned when I saw the subject 🙂 Contemplating has a lovely feel to it and the other two are so clear and sharp. It’s not your normal choice of subject either, Paula, but you’ve made a superb job of it. 🙂 It wouldn’t be a challenge if it wasn’t challenging, would it? Keep smiling!

    • 😀 (No, not my favourite subject at all :D), but in 10 days I’ll have more street portraits in B&W that I actually like 😀 Thank you for coming here this morning with your warm smile. Have a good day, Jo.

  11. Great job Paula, considering street photography isn’t quite your genre! Love the first shot titles contemplation.

    • When you took these, was it from chest level or hip level? I can’t teach myself to do that.My problem is that I have to have a camera glued to my eye and shoot and then everybody notices me :/

      • actually it was with a tilt screen camera (small sony RX100 2) from the belly level ;-), I look at the tilted screen all the time, (not once glancing at people), pretend that I am fiddling with the camera. (with Nikon I also have to have it glued to my eye)

    • If you stick around, you will see some in B&W really soon. I think you still don’t know me well. I displayed a thumbnail of your linked post, but I should really play by the rules and from now on link to fresh posts made for the challenge.
