Black & White Sunday: Landmark

It’s been a while since I challenged you to post a photo (or several photos) in monochrome. Today I am posting a photo with sepia edit to evoke times past, cause I thought it most suitable for a treasured landmark such as Zagreb Cathedral. You are free to do any sort of edit you wish – even selective colouring, or hints or colour as long as monochrome is predominant (it does not have to be an edit at all, it can also be a photo taken as plain black&white – as usual the choice is yours).

This is my entry for my challenge. I would appreciate your kind contributions for this Sunday. Be well and have a good rest!

    • I am always impressed with your education background Hillary. This is a Neo-gothic cathedral but still a gem, and we are very proud of it.

    • Thank you again, Klara. What a cool perspective to shoot Mont Saint Michel. I’ve never been there, but it is still on my list.

  5. With the vignette, and sepia toning it definitely looks quite old. The tone itself even reminds me of the calotypes from the late 1800’s.

I’ve very recently prepared a duotone that might be good for this challenge, so I’m going for it. I’ll let you know when it’s posted.

    • This is exquisite Tish. I will have to revisit the post to check out related articles that tickled my imagination. Hope your week is going well. I am fine, but busy at work and with my therapy, so I don’t visit blogs as much as I’d like to. Hope you understand.
