whether in the natural world or the (de)constructions of humans, or in the intersect between the two, texture by and far arises not from intent, but of the elements, over time, interacting, engaging one another, each of them changed in the interaction, the dispersion of energy. The static photograph splendidly captures the motion of this dynamic. How the terrain is like any other terrain, valleys in its skin like canyons carved out by streams and creeks and rivers. One cannot help but ponder the flow, the growth – a rough life? serene?
Interesting facet – the ambiance of a landscape emerges from its texture , whether desert or forest, urban or rural.

Is it the same cost as the videos? Just curious – and I splurged for the video feature for a year – but could never get it to work right – and I might try again later, but it was a big ol’ headache….

It’s different. USD 20 a year.

Hi P- and thanks for the comment – and I kept the comments off on that one (which you know I RARELY do…) but I might do that with posts that I have the historical feel – and then maybe I should separate the challenges? Oh who knows – way too much thinking for a blog post –
anyhow, wishing you a nice week P 🙂

Bark? 🙂 Glad Yvette mentioned the music because I almost didn’t listen that far. Impatient to get into the sunlit garden for breakfast this morning. Beautiful!

I smiled at your invitation to comment! So full of subtext. I can’t resist textures: mine is the cousin of yours I think. I hope you don’t mind. Your challenges speak to me – maybe because I’m now an honorary nthn hemispherean.

I always seem to think of bark for texture- especially in B&W. I like the music and the quote- it made me think. Here’s mine this week. A used nest -the past that hopefully sent fledglings into a new future. Saplings – to grow into mighty pine trees, and aan old tree, with tales to tell in years gone by. https://dailymusing57.com/2016/05/22/black-white-sunday-texture/

The music is very “You”. The bark reminds me of my (long gone) european woods.
The quote is perfect. Without dwelling in it we are nothing without the past, our past, our parents, grandparents, ancestors. They indeed have given the texture to our lives. We cannot ignore that texture. Obrigado Menina.
