I was there in 1983. I remember being on a bus and seeing the Coliseum come into view- it was like an out of body experience- seeing it “for real”. It was a wonderful trip- Rome, Venice Florence and 2 hours in Milan to see The Last Supper, and then back on a train to Paris!

I am so thankful and blessed by your photos and others who share their amazing world with us. This picture is an example of a of place I will more than likely never see but yet I get to look into window of another world through it.
