One of the things I love about you- you have a whole Arsenale of untapped photos of wonderful places. This is such a lovely one. Wishing you a happy weekend, Paula. 🙂 🙂
What a stunning photo Paula! The colors, the setting, the setting- were you inside a house looking out the window? There is something about the view from the window and the water below and the flowers cascading off that balcony that screams hope, come, welcome. I also love the music- so uplifting and perky! Hope to get to Thursday’s Special over the weekend- have been busy too busy today to sit and focus on it.
Hi Lisa, I was lucky to find that little alley with a window overlooking a canal in Bologna. And Lucio Dalla’s song I only posted cause he is from Bologna, but now I see it works very well with the image. Thank you so very much for thinking of me. You have time till Tuesday even. Pick a word challenge will not be in a poll cause of so many theme choices. Have a great weekend my dear!
What a fascinating place Paula, I had to google it of course! Were you inside a house or is it a balcony you took the shot from? I always wonder if places like that have wet cellars and how the buildings survive. I love the rich colours as well.
Dear Gilly, I am so glad you like it. This one was taken from a street, Imagine that. Whoever got the idea of putting a window there was a genius 🙂 Thank you!
I wish was INSIDE this frame !

ha! ok – but we could ride together as the gondolier tells us stories from the canal – (or not) ha!

No, no, no, it’s not Venice, no gondoliers here 😀

I just loved this image, Paula…
Window to a fantasy world….
The rich orange hue of the wall and the plants and flowers on the other side of the frame makes it magical 🙂
I kept the music playing and glued to my screen…
Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
