Thursday’s Special: Pick a Word in November
Here we have again the recurrent photo challenge theme: Pick a Word. As usual you have a possibility to choose between five different words, or do several or even all together (in one post). Here are my five examples for:
ascending
idleness
jaunty
whiff
luminosity
You may have noticed that this time there are no dilapidated, decayed or abandoned subjects. We are approaching the end of the year and must do our best to keep the spirits up. Maybe some images from my eclectic gallery will inspire you to join the challenge.

#1 and #2 are shot in my town – Zagreb, Croatia. More about #2 – here
#3 is a random flower i.e. a flower ballerina
#4 is not my dog.

Whiff is my favourite! My first thought reading the list was how on earth would you do whiff? Idleness is perfect – and permanent. And you’r enight shots are always wonderful – true luminosity this time. The water textures are quite lovely.

Thank you very much, Meg. it is getting more and more difficult to come up with new themes on a weekly basis, and especially if I do them twice a week. Yes, it is a tricky one, but doable. So happy you like it.

No, when I click on the link on your blog to go across to your site to read the whole post, I go to the comment box, write my bit, then get asked to sign in to WordPress. This I do, and it always tells me I have the wrong username or password – but I have put in the correct ones….so I can never comment. The gate is firmly bolted. 😢

Whiff is a great name for a dog 🙂 🙂 I made it here, under duress. The laptop is misbehaving and my spirits are low, Paula, but I can always rely on my virtual friends to lift them. Thank you so much for holding out your hand. I would very much enjoy that arm-in-arm stroll. Sending hugs 🙂

I’ve just bought 3 month membership in babbel to learn German, though I hate the language. Will check out your etymology after I translate some PP presentation for the bosses.

Yikes! German in 3 months! i learnt at school, mumble mumble years ago, still remember enough to get around but conversation is beyond me! All those cases….

It’s the period of time I decided to pay, not pretending to learn it. I suck in German compared to my other languages. Don’t like the sound or the logic of it.

Spanish is not a difficult language, and it’s fun. You should do it, or Italian. They are easier than Portuguese. I will give German a try nevertheless.
