    • πŸ™‚ I don’t know about the photo, but it took some preliminary work, making of a beach, placing the shells, umbrella, gluing two shells together and finding a pearl πŸ˜€

      • Excellent work on the photo and also the preliminary work. Splendid!
Great lighting as well: you’ve created the impression of strong sunlight. Very good Paula.

        • πŸ™‚ really appreciate it, Max. I thought I could use the sand and shells I brought home from Corsica in 2013. The stuff smelled really nasty when I opened the bottle πŸ˜€

          • The light reflecting in the pearl too, it’s perfect.
I can imagine it was smelly! This summer, when we were hiking in the mountains, we refilled our water bottles with fresh mountain water. One of the bottles with water were left on my kitchen sink for a couple of months afterwards and the water became stale. When I emptied it in the sink, the smell almost knocked me out!

              • Me neither, but it’s because one of the French women filled her bottle in a creek that was way down in a valley. She didn’t know that you shouldn’t fill water there, only when you’re higher up in the mountains, because down in the valley the temperature is much warmer and the water can be contaminated.

  2. Welcome to miniature land, Paula! This is the first photo in this style I see from you (may be my fault) – and it is perfect! It is also good to see something like this can work without miniature People or toy animals, which again is inspiring! …and a nice take on the theme.
