It’s the time of year when we usually take stock of our life, hoping to make it better in some way and looking forward to the forthcoming year expecting it to bring solutions to our troubles.
That’s what I did. I started by taking stock of my images in 2016. You know what they say “an image is worth a thousand words”. If that is so, here is my year in 12,000 words 😉
Please, join me in this challenge and show me what your 2016 was like. Chose 12 of your best photographs – they don’t have to be from 12 different months, but photographs that you think represent best your year.
I’d like to thank all my faithful followers for participating in photo challenges that I am hoping to resume in 2017 as well. May the new year bring you good health, joy and fulfillment!
P.S. Following the earlier practice I will keep posting new challenge themes a few days in advance on Scheduled challenges page.
Thank you very much, Debra. I am so glad to meet you and to see you participate. Will you be joining me for challenges next year? I run two of them on a weekly basis (one in colour and one in black and white).
You seem a little more upbeat, Paula, though you must still be as busy as ever. I hope that the year ahead has a smoother path for you. Whatever befalls we can rely on you to produce beautiful images. Wishing you joy but, most importantly, good health in the year ahead. And a few hugs 🙂 🙂
I am busy and happy to have my job. There are worse things than being busy 😉 Thank you, Jo. Wish you all the things you wish for yourself. See you in a bit.
I decided to post it today because it’s so slow today, I figure maybe i could stir up a little interest. I love your pictures, but that red-faced goose is my favorite. He looks so disapproving!
Hola Paula!
A very fine gallery of work, Paula. Am now looking forward to this year’s creative output. Happy 2017 to you and yours. Wishing you every good thing, and less stress.
Hi P – I love your choices for the top 12 of 2016 –
And this was a great idea for closing out the year – it prompted me to post and that was a good thing 😉

These are all terrific Paula – each one tells a story, and isn’t that what it’s all about? Didn’t see your challenge until today but I did do my 2016 roundup here: https://travelsandtrifles.wordpress.com/2017/01/01/retrospective-part-ii/comment-page-1/#comment-24694 . Don’t think I made it to 12 though :-). All the best to you in the New Year.
