It’s time for another Black & White Sunday, this time with the theme: THROUGH. You can make it simple, or complicated. The choice is yours. The only thing to remember is that you have a week to respond.
It’s all Greek to me… Parallaxi Magazine comissioned an interesting documentary, “A Neighborhood At the Limit.” The soundtrack is composed by Manos Milonakis. I believe it is entirely shot in Thessaloniki. Sadly no subtitles… Oh, and it goes without saying breathtaking photography as always!
What a beauty!
Great shot Paula

This is one of my favourite shots from my week in Azerbaijan – but I’m still in the middle of reviewing, so more will probably emerge.

Were you there for work, or just pleasure and adventure?

Part work, but I added on a few days for adventure and took a trip north-west to see Sheki and a few sites en route. I really enjoyed it.

If only I’d known! Today’s picture would be perfect for this 🙂 Maybe I’ve got another tunnel somewhere. It’s been a tunnel sort of week.

Where WERE you when you took that? On the shore on a sidewalk looking under the bridge? Great angle.

Fantastic perspective Paula. Did you get your feet wet? Or is that sand I can see at the bottom edge?

This is a brilliant photo, it looks as if it goes on for ever. Did you have to dodge the waves?

Wonderfully and dramatically surreal, Paula. In fact it’s taking me to some Sci Fi place – through my screen into another world.

That is a great shot – underneath a pier? Where? I love the perspective, how it appears endless.

A good solid pier, but no clues where. Great shot, Paula! I’ve spent the day surrounded by cistus and my feet hurt 🙂 🙂

It’s in Viareggio, Jo, in Tuscany 🙂 Take care!

Stunning, so manmade and yet so painterly because of the texture on the columns and the shifting light on them and on the water.

This is really good. You can almost feel the weight of the bridge. The composition and grey tones makes it feel very heavy.
