When I was thinking of this theme I though about low-lying clouds, and the prestorm sky came to mind, the kind of sky that looks as if it is going to fall on Earth. The railway cables in this composition look like strings that seem to be pulling it further down…
For this week’s Black and White Sunday photo challenge I’m hoping to see some photos that you took from a low-lying perspective.
When you publish your response to the challenge, link to this post and leave me your comment bellow. Have fun!
Please have a look at the entries to this challenge:
What an impressive shot Paula – that is an amazing sky, and you have used those “strings” perfectly.
I enjoy lying low for getting a good image so I’m off to see what I can find.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I’m afraid I didn’t have the low angle, but I sure got low clouds 🙂 I love the twisted building. this was my first use of my new (used) wide angle lens, so it is a different angle. It’s my first true wide-angle that isn’t the “low” end of a telephoto.
Amazing sky. I love how black & white brings the clouds out!
It seems as though there is a lot of energy within this image waiting to be released via wires and/or a storm. Somewhat of a contrast to these summer’s daisies. The soundtrack muted?
Hope this finds you and yours well. This Summer is flying by and My Bride will be in the last semester of nursing school soon. After that i hope to engage more with my photography and friends here and at home. Peace~ John
The impending storm to come creating drama in your photograph. Fantastic photograph, Paula. Clouds before a storm
can be quite scary. Hope you enjoy my entry this week ….

Love low angles – this is an interesting shot, with the sky and the wires. A book cover maybe?

It’s fascinating how weather can change the look of a scene. Dramatic skies are always my favourite subject. Great entry with dobrodosli 😀

Your clouds seem ominous! The Black and white treatment brought out their character.
I am not sure my entry fulfills the challenge – the scene is definitely way down from me – but that means I am up looking down, not down below looking up which, after more thought, may be what you meant. 🙂 Anyways, here’s the link – https://alipatoblog.wordpress.com/2017/07/11/the-fisherman-black-white-sunday-low-lying/
