BLACK & WHITE SUNDAY: TRACES OF THE PAST Y3-08

I happened to be in Newcastle upon Tyne on an important date for Britain, and was very happy to capture some of the celebratory atmosphere in the streets. As is often the case in my pictures, I applied selective colouring cause it just felt right.

  3. Only you! 🙂 🙂 And Sting, of course- so appropriate. I have just traveled from one immense shot to another and I think it’s time to quit because I will not better this. Have a peaceful Sunday, Paula 🙂

  10. Found Glendalough, Ireland, whose past reaches a long way back. Selective colours to enhance the depth. Have a great week.

  12. I remember the cathedral in Newcastle. I only saw it at night (it is very well lit). Your point of view is very well chosen and the look from below the arch is ver expressive. It takes the position of looking out and although it takes away the immediacy, this perspective works wonderfully for the topic. As I’ve explained in my contribution this influenced me in what I chose to show. https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2017/08/20/past-and-present/
