Say hi under this post.
P.S. Owing to the top-notch functionality of the WordPress post editor linking to your entries has become a time-consuming and strenuous process, so I will no longer enclose links to your entries in my post cause they are in the comment section on the same page anyway. I will use that time to see more of your posts and to comment there instead.

Oh, that lovely brickwork in the last one. All of them superb. Immaculate is what I hope for my living room after the carpet cleaners arrive in 10 minutes! But their task is mountainous. A dog lives here. I hope you’re feeling rested and relaxed. It’s strange not having you about regularly.
Glad to see you back and hope your hand is totally recovered. I always enjoy your 5 words and your photos for it are all wonderful. I love the clouds covering the mountains in your first yet giving you the definite feel that you are higher than they are if you could see their summits. My favourite though has to be the cat. It looks like it has whiskers on the ends of its ears. Mine https://irenewaters19.com/2017/10/12/dunedin-taieri-gorge-five-words-october-2017-thursdays-special/
I saw what I thought was a domestic cat in a zoo in Switzerland and was staggered that they would do that. Perhaps it too was a lynx. Are they European cats?
Tremendous shots, Paula. And it’s wonderful to have you back. I hope you are well on the mend.
And I love your words, as always, so here is my interpretation of them: https://travelwithintent.com/2017/10/12/64390/
https://tishfarrell.com/2017/10/12/peroulia-dreaming-5-the-red-parasol/ Here’s my spanning and mountainous, also with immaculate sea and sand. I’m especially captivated by your mountainous shot. You have captured the way the mountain emerges/looms as if it is some momentous-mythic entity that doesn’t quite belong to the world we think we know and occupy. All fabulous shots though and with dreamy accompaniment. Aaah!
So good to see that you are back. I adore the lynx. Did you come upon him (her?) in the wild? The bridge is also a great photo showing off your skills.
I preferred to stick with one of the words this time – whiskers it is.
Perfect representations for each word, Paula. The mountains are so majestic. And, of course, you know I love the kitty! LOL! Lovely music to enjoy, too!
My first time. This seems like fun. A great selection of words. I’ve enjoyed looking at other folks pictures. My choice is whiskers. http://cactushaiku.com/cat-senryu-whiskers/
I like your photos with each word – and the spanning is my top one of the post. Reminded me of St Louis – and just a nice shot of that art spanning the water. Amazing what folks can build….
the music was so soothing in this post – listened to it twice.
here is my entry for this month’s pick a word…
Hiya Paula, lovely to see you back in action and I am so glad the hand has improved. Not so happy about your foot though. I have had issues with my left foot for a while now and although I can walk it becomes very painful after a while. Love the lynx and the flower photos the best, I have one for you, but not until Tuesday so I hope the pingback works. If not I’ll pop back and add the link. Take care!
