THURSDAY’S SPECIAL: TRACES OF THE PAST Y3-10
For the third year in a row, and for the tenth time this year (I skipped the one in October) I am posting Traces of the Past challenge. This month it is a photo challenge in colour and you’ll have a really long deadline since I am going on a holiday next week. The next post on this blog is planned for 30 November and you have time until 29 November. I look forward to seeing your posts on my return. Wishing you all peace and happiness!

Traces of the Past is a recurrent photo challenge that (normally) happens every month (one month in colour as part of Thursday’s Special and the following month in black and white as part of Black & White Sunday). You are free to choose whatever traces of the past you can find. It does not have to be a distant one, or rich in history; it can be something personal, or it can even have a human form.

A beautiful peek at the past Paula. You got to see some great places on your trip over here I see, and a good mix of old and new.

This is such an arresting shot, Paula. And a place I’ve never been to, but really must. I’m sending you a Greek (Ottoman) fortress in return. Wishing you a very good holiday.https://tishfarrell.com/2017/11/09/inside-the-old-fort-at-pylos-thursdays-special/

Your photo of the castle is wonderful. We didn’t get to see the castle, it was closed for filming, so we went to the garden instead, and the weather was so grim I would never have got a photo as lovely as this. You have made me think about castles though and it is time I posted some of the Welsh ones I have visited. I shall try and get something sorted before you return from your holiday. Hope it is fun and hope it is somewhere warm!

Hi Paula For this photo challenge I have combined yours with Dutch goes the Photos photo challenge. I have a busy few days with my daughters wedding on the weekend so I hope you will forgive the combination blog. When I saw you castle I thought of doing castles too but Frank made me change my mind.
Here is my Traces of the Past
