My first post in 2018 is the first Pick a Word themed challenge this year. I know I promised to start with some easy words, but I changed my mind 😀 Please choose any (or all, or some) of the following:

Gorgeous images Paula and words to really contemplate! I adore your festive shot – an abundance of baubles and bokeh. A great post to start the year with
Thank you so much, dear Debbie. I wish you a year of abundance. I am so grateful for your virtual company throughout the year, but I rarely mention it. xo
I know I commented on this but it seems to have disappeared. One of those weird WP things? Anyway, after looking up two of five words, I did okay on everything but auricomous because we are so not blonde around here. I found a golden retriever — the closest to blonde I could find 🙂 Welcome to the new year!
Love your algid picture. That is as cold looking a picture as I’ve seen. I got chilly just looking at it.
I am sorry to hear you are having problems with WP again. I have checked out the spam box, and you were not there – luckily. I so appreciate your comment and opinion Marilyn 🙂 Thank you so much. xx
Oh goody. I will have to try and get something special as your images are so good Paula. Love the festive and the candescent is amazing. Be back soon as I can 🙂
Your images have such depth and colour, Paula, and all so beautiful. I had to look back to check out Lucca but then it was immediately obvious. 🙂 🙂 I’ve gone with the easy choice, and thank you for filling my home with lovely peaceful music. Wishing you good health and happiness in 2018. https://restlessjo.me/2018/01/04/festive/
All of your photos are wonderful. I agree with Marilyn, your algid gives me shivers just looking at it and your golden balls couldn’t be a better festive..
Hello Paula,
Happy newjear. 🙂
I do not understand all words but i’ll search the traduction. Very nice pictures as usual. I love the “angular”. 🙂 and candescent is a very successful shot.
Have a nice day. Friendship.
Geneviève
Happy New Year to you and yours, Paula, and thank you for making us work so hard so early in the year 🙂 But then it’s nice to learn new words, particularly as one gets older and therefore so good at forgetting the words one already knows! You’ve also given us some splendid photos. Especially love the festive. Sumptuous. https://tishfarrell.com/2018/01/05/brrrr-or-do-i-mean-baaaa/
your photos are beautiful – loved the song too – and dang – the words are tough – but also fun.
My fav was how the last two seemed to wrap up the post so completely (with a glow) and the animal in “AURICOMOUS” made me smile –
Here’s an auricomous shot I was trying to find when I answered this prompt. Couldn’t find it so used another one, but since it popped up today, have to send in another as well: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2018/01/08/auricomous-redux/
