Welcome to the special edition of Pick-a-Word Thursday’s Special photo challenge. The thing that is special about this one is that you get to choose between five different colours and not just words. Here is what I had in mind for this December:
Take your time posting. I am not sure if I will be able to prepare another challenge/post before the end of the year and what it will be, but I am not giving up on blogging in 2019. Have a happy and merry holiday season and thank you for being so patient and pending of my posts throughout the year. ❤
Thank you for this lovely prompt and some beautiful colours to work with Paula. We wish you a magical festive season and a very happy New Year! Our first contribution (maroon) is here: https://whippetwisdom.com/2018/12/13/haibun-carried-by-waves/
Holiday destination, each one of them. I won’t even try to compete with landscapes. I picked 3 colours to create an autumn/fall theme: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2018/12/13/best-of-five/ even though it is already December. But that’s a perfect time to thank you for your blog and your prompts throughout the year. You are very inspiring, Paula!
A long time since I’ve seen you around. I hope your festive season is relaxed and pleasant – or exciting, if that’s what you’d prefer. I daren’t presume! As always completely wonderful photos, especially the layer of Pale Pink. Your eye for composition is immaculate.
(PS I’ve withdrawn substantially from blogging – I’ve started a new blog where I post mainly password protected and private, and not nearly as frequently as in the past)
Just stunning, Paula! I need to know where are maroon and pale pink. I love them both. I hope that all is well in your busy world. I am relocated to Portugal and will be following along from there. God bless! Feliz Navidad 🙂 🙂
Brilliant! A very clever twist on your pick-a-word challenge, Paula. And what gorgeous images you have given us.
Have a restful christmas break when you get to it and all the very best for the New Year. Just be sure to come back to the blog! 😉
xx
Hi Paula, Thank you for doing this challenge in the most trying circumstances.

Happiness and peace be with you

Your photos are lovely. I particularly like the one with pink sand.
It’s been quite a while since I did one of these challenges. It’s been a busy year. I put all the colours into one photo. I hope that isn’t breaking the rules. https://beinginnatureblog.wordpress.com/2018/12/18/colour/

True. I overdid it. The one from Tenerife is with filters, the wedding was post-processed in cyan.
