Beautiful Austria: Sankt Wolfgang

Those who visit my blog regularly have noticed that Monday is my virtual travel day. This time I want to show you a small town in Austria known as Sankt Wolfgang in Salzkammergut region. The photos were taken some years back at the time when I still hadn’t discovered my passion for photography.

Weekly Photo Challenge: BIG

I may have faith enough to move mountains, but without love, I am nothing.

I hope you will enjoy my vision of BIG while listening to the attached music.

Favourite spot is the inner garden each of us should cultivate in our heart. It can be found anywhere regardless of the sights/images that surround you… Beauty can be found almost everywhere, if you bring your inner garden with you.

Maybe the attached track and photo will say it better for me.

Weekly Photo Challenge: NEAR and FAR

This was taken one windy summer day in July 2010, just above Val Venosta during our 10-hour drive to Lago di Resia just to see its famous church tower submerged in water. You’ll get to see the tower on some other occasion, for now it is just windy plains, mountains and floating clouds.

Here is some music to go with it 03 – Drifting away (Paradiso Mix)

SUNDAY POST: Reflection

This is the place where I come to reflect, to meditate…my oasis in the mountains, the emerald lake with the most beautiful reflections in the Alpine region of Italy, Lago di Braies.

Join me for a walk around the lake, and listen to the selected tune

Monday in Colours

I got tired of my black and white scheme, though many of you have recognised it as my MUST from now on :D. So today I have decided to put some colour back to my pa

       Something old, something new

     Something borrowed, something blue

And a silver sixpence in her shoe.

Something old – the old chapel

Something new – a new place for me

Something blue – the SKY

And as for the borrowed thing .. I borrowed my friends’ brain as to editing it 😉

The only thing that is missing is a silver sixpence – :S

Black and White in the Mountains

The heights charm us, but the steps do not; with the mountain in our view we love to walk the plains.

– Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Black (& White) Wednesday

The good thing about today is that it is Wednesday, and not Tuesday or Monday… and therefore can’t be all black …  Wishing to be somewhere far away now, away from this scorching hot town, up in the mountains where the air may be thinner, and I may feel dizzier, but my spirits would be free.

When you recall scenes from the past, do you see them in colour or black and white?
