THURSDAY’S SPECIAL: PICK A WORD – DECEMBER 2022

Dear friends and followers 🙂

Thank you for giving my posts and challenges yet another year of attention. I am happy to be able to share my world in images and words with you. For the last challenge this year I am proposing the following 5 words and as usual you may join by participating with one of them, several or all.

This time not in alphabetic order, but to make more impact my choices are:

TRIBUTE

WADING

TOWNSCAPE

HARBOUR

BOKEH

Tribute (this statue is a tribute to the painting Las Meninas by Diego Velázquez)
Wading
Townscape
Harboured
Bokeh (for me this one is an allegory for bubbly, happy people)

WOW – WORDS OF WISDOM #3

Welcome to my photo & quote challenge Words of Wisdom. It has been going on monthly since June. For this challenge you are supposed to write a quote either by someone famous, or your own and illustrate it in images taken by you. You can use proverbs, funny quotes, whatever you like – any quote on any subject to be illustrated through your photos.

I’m Fat, You’re Ugly. I can Diet!

WOW – WORDS OF WISDOM #2

Last month I started a new word and photo challange that I call Words of Wisdom . It will run one Wednesday every month (weeks will vary). For this challenge you are supposed to write a quote either by someone famous, or your own and illustrate it in images taken by you. You can use proverbs, funny quotes, whatever you like – any quote on any subject to be illustrated through your photos.

Here’s my contribution for this month’s WoW:

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

˜ Helen Keller

P.S. I’d like to thank to bloggers eklastic and bushboy for participating in June.
