With their 108 m height the towers of the Zagreb Cathedral are the highest in the country. The below images are made from the same shot, but they underwent different editing.
This is the first time you are given an opportunity to vote for a better photo in one of my posts so go and make the right click ๐
Voilร enfin les fameuses tours ! ๐
J’ai une prรฉfรฉrence pour la premiรจre, l’effet de la photo et le noir et blanc ont un style plutรดt “romantique”. ๐
I love them Paula, and the 1st is my favorite….your poll button isnt working on my PC….I click my choice and when I click vote it tells me I have to make my choice!
No need to thank me : ) Rampant thanking goes on here and I think we are all grateful for the interaction and connections and mutual appreciations! It’s kind of a given but I also applaud polite society which seems to prevail here!
And I am very happy Jo that we agree on this one ๐ Funny, when I posted these I thought that at least 90% of the people will vote for the 2nd one :D.
I see that most people (so far) have voted for the first image. I don’t like it, because it has this white border/edge around the tower.
That’s why I’m voting for the second photo – the quality is better.
What a great angle of the towers! I chose the first one because I like how b&w places the emphasis on the structure and architectural details. They really are both great though. ๐
๐ the same as me, thought I was not allowed to vote :D. I am happy you made the same choice as I did ๐ I see the first shot as a drawing and the second as a watercolour ๐
Hi Paula, normally my eye always gravitates to monochrome but in this case I prefer the second. Both are very good but I found myself drawn to the second. For me the second feels much more like a photograph, more of an image that came from a camera. Have a great evening ๐
Wow! Now that’s one TALL building!! looks really grand!! though I have votd..i will tell you why I like the second one… I get the feeling that the second one manages to show the details better…for example, the clock’s colour adds a twist to the entire frame…if you know what I mean! ๐
Brilliant pictures.
