This is a Corsican donkey 🙂 I am very sentimental when donkeys and mules are concerned. I had a mule at my grandparents’ when I was little, and I am beside myself with joy whenever I spot one. This pic is far from ideal, but I don’t care. Whenever I see a donkey I have to take a pic. I am convinced that they are the best animals on this Earth :). I wish I could have a farm – not for economical purposes just for the company of animals, but that will never happen. Buona giornata, Amy!

Thank you for sharing your sentiment, Paula. I love the shot of the donkey. I can see the express and his/her eyes… It requires a lot of daily physical work in a farm, summer and winter, I won’t know how to handle it 🙂

This little she donkey has to share her space with a group of goats which don’t look very favourably on her. I have witnessed some really serious attacks against her when I was there:D
