Today, I give you the sexiest in my porcelain doll collection, a doll made after the prostitute character in Emile Zola’s novels, famous Nana.
If you have any black and white photos you wish me to check out and link to my Black & White Sunday, please leave me a link. You can also grab the widget:
Your B&W photos are always so good… not being a big fan of B&W I don’t often capture in it or convert to it… probably as with my nature photos the colour tends to be quite important… but I do love seeing photos of those that know how to take them and how to process them… you are damn good at it…
Yeah my first thought was that this was the evil lady in “The Three Musketeers” – Lady de Winter, who was cheating the fourth musketeer D’Artagnan… 🙂 🙂 🙂
Quite a character! And beauty, of course 🙂
Hearing the words “porcelain doll”, there is always a touch of fragility in my imagination, yet this one seems to be a tough cookie…
et Nana Mouskouri?… 🙂 P.S. j’aime bcp:”Blogging is about commenting, not clicking likes. I don’t follow people that are quick on the mouse button.” – same here, I totally agree… 🙂 my very best and have a wonderful weekend! cheers, Mélanie – Toulouse, France
Bon weekend!
😆 I bet you did not expect this. Actually this photo was primarily for my own Black and White Sunday challenge that has been put off for two weeks due to my stressful schedule. Thank you, Kathryn 🙂
Resplendissante, cette Nana ! 🙂

Nana does not mean “granny” in French 😀

In Hebrew nana means mint (as in the herb).

The same word is also.used here to denote mint by Bosnian people…

Nana? That’s short for grandmother here. 🙂

😆 In French it has nothing to do with “granny” 🙂 I love your black and white and the song link. Thank you very much LD 🙂

My wife loves porcelain dolls but she never had a character like this in her collection. Très unique.

🙂 I bet she would love this one :). They are quite cheap and small – about $6 a piece…
