Photography: Glass

These three cherries are made of white glass; different colouring was obtained during the shooting process. Possibilities when shooting glass are endless.

  1. That is very clever and has produced a beautiful photo – care to give us a clue how it was done? The most obvious one to choose would be red, so I am going for the rather peachy coloured one as my favourite.

  2. I was really curious to know how you have done the color rendering part, and great to see the effort went in.

Beautiful image for it’s simplicity and striking color contrast with the black background πŸ™‚

Thanks a lot for sharing the music too πŸ™‚

  3. Cool shot, Paula. I was stumped then I read the explanations. Now I see the lights on the cherry stalks as well. It makes sense now. Very well done.

    • Green and ripe! πŸ™‚ Be my guest, Hilary. I thought of you today wanting to visit, and then something trivial stopped me.

  4. I thought I’d appreciated this already, but my comment must have got lost in space. A beautiful luminous photo, with such wonderful luminous glass-colours. I’d love to watch you taking such a photo – I can’t quite envisage how you did it, despite your very clear explanation.

I’m in recovery – up till 11.30 two nights in a row talking: that’s a once a year phenomenon usually! Jude was great company.

    • Thank you for the appreciation, Meg. I am really thankful for your interest πŸ™‚ I have noticed something I noticed before in other bloggers, and I don’t know how to feel about it – there are some popular bloggers than only feign their interest in my posts – their superficial comments make me feel bad. I wish they would just forget I exist and go on with their business. It happened here and again on my Triumph post, not to mention my earlier posts. If attention is what they are after – and I can see it clearly- why don’t they leave in peace and go after other suckers. Sorry for this out pour. I had to share with somebody. I decided to ignore the people whose silly comments made me feel bad and surely they will stop visiting here.
It is great to hear you have had fun with your friend Jude. It is special to meet in person people from blogoshpere. Have a good rest, Meg πŸ™‚

      • Rest Paula? Tomorrow I take a friend shopping (60 km round trip) and go to Book Club. Then I pack the car and drive to Queensland for a month! I’m a bit insane. But insanity offers many pleasures. I’ll see my senior grandkids and my son and daughter and their respective and wonderful partners, to say nothing of dogs, alpacas, chooks and a cat. Blogging will be compromised at one point – my daughter has awful Internet connection.

My wish for you? Only encounters with intelligent and thoughtful commenters. May it happen!
