  1. This looks wonderful in b&w. I don’t often do b&w landscapes – but maybe I’ll join the theme this week.

  2. The mountains look so majestic Paula and seem to stand so tall. The menacing clouds seem to emphasize their majesty.

    1. You are absolutely right, Colline 🙂 In the Alps clouds are often menacing.

    1. The music was written with the Rocky mountains in mind, but I think it works well here too 😉 These are north Italian, and are my favourite 🙂 Thank you, Linda!

    1. 🙂 It is true, sometimes it takes time to come to appreciate a photo, but I appreciated yours right away. All entries so far feature places I have been longing to visit. I like the way you captured your view – the essence of Normand landscape :). Thank you, Tobias.

  11. Lovely scene, Paula, and love the mountain music. I wonder why I always have to stop the music before I can comment, otherwise my words all run into one another, with no spaces. 😕

    1. Hi Sylvia 🙂 I have never heard of such a problem, and you say it happened before :S. Oh dear, I hope this will not prevent you from listening to music here (the one with my pencils/crayons was just for fun – I promise to be more selective in the future) ❤

  17. I’m lagging behind your posts, trying to keep up with mine. Selfish, eh? I think landscape might be the most difficult to do in b&w because things tend to merge rather than stand out. However, you’ve done it – the moody, the detail, the shapes, and thank you sky! I particularly like the foreground detail. I have a few theme ideas, gleaned from my drive north – posted in due course, when time, notebook and charged iPad have a simultaneous existence in the same place.
