Just a few weeks ago I was passing by this majestic Ginkgo tree all dressed in gold on my way to work. It is bare now, and soon it will probably be covered in snow.
A beautiful tree. It must be nice to be able to see it change during all the seasons.

What a beauty, Paula! I’m never sure what a Ginko tree looks like- it’s such an exotic name. I must have a close-up! 🙂
And that music is perfect! What is it? Thank you so much for joining me in your precious time 🙂

Thank you, Jo.
Ginkgo tree has a very exotic and beautiful leaf shape. I used to take extract for dizziness some years ago, and I am convinced it works. Music is by Simon and Garfunkel (one of my long-time favourites) only this time they sing in French and Haitian about healing leaves. Going back to translating applications for EU funds…

I thought it was S & G but was confused by the language. Love it! 🙂 I’m off to take washing out, iron and then meet friend at lunchtime. Hugs 🙂

Such a lovely tree, Paula. Also I think it’s one of the most ancient still surviving on earth, AND it has a host of medicinal uses. In short, it shows itself off for what it is – a true glory – which you have so well shown us 🙂

What a lovely walk to work. A pity work is not as lovely. You’ve done photographic justice to a queen of trees. My other favourite journey to work was brubio’s along a Venetian canal – and it obviously wasn’t a walk. Mine was a 60 km drive in my working days, and it wasn’t bad either. Travel well.

They are golden for a very short time, but this Autumn has been very unusual. All the birch trees in the town are still covered with leaves.
