At Cardinal Guzman’s invitation I am taking you to the same place (Maksimir Park in Zagreb) the fourth month in a row. It’s a place that relaxes me any time of the year, but it is cool to see it change colours, vegetation and visitors with passing seasons.
đ I bet đ Thanks a bunch, CG for “making me” go to the same spot month after month. You are not only responsible for my improving as a photographer, you also make me look at the same things with different eyes.
It’s a beautiful park, Paula. I’d love to go there every moth too.
The child and the dog’s photos are priceless. The lake’s reflections made for a dramatic and magic composition. The curvy path is intriguing. The skies colors are superb. And the last one, what’s it?
Love it, truly.
Thank you very much, Lucile. The last one shows an overflow in lake #3. There are five lakes in this park including a zoo, so when Cardinal started this challenge I thought of it as a place I would never get bored with đ
You’re very welcome, Paula.
Thanks.
It’s a great park, as you describe it.
I’m also following Cardinal’s challenge and made it a bit more complicated with fixed shots plus varied city shots. Should have chosen just the same place every month…
There are a lot of ducks and swans too, and many other animals since there is a zoo on the property đ Thank you for joining me for a virtual walk. đ
Cute pup. Looks like a Polish Lowland Sheepdog which looks like a small Old English Sheepdog. Nice to see scene of nature without snow! We’ve got sleet today. Sigh.
A lovely series. Vidikovac for me – bare trees, a gracious building and clouds. Just about everything I like in a photo, although the reflections run a close second.
I’m now in the tropics – the same place monthly is not for me this year. This time last month it was winter Warsaw … Or was it autumn Potato Point? Tomorrow snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, and Saturday my niece’s wedding.
A stunning selection as always Paula. So bright and beautiful and those blue skies are just gorgeous! I also love the shot of the little pup and how he/she looks at you. So cute! The last shot of the siphon is stunning! Thanks for sharing all this beauty. đ âĽ
Beautiful images, and I too like the addition of the child and the dog.
This challenge has been fun to learn to take better photographs, no matter what level one is at. I’m glad to see that for you too, because I consider you already as having such expertise in this area, with the beauty and depth of your photographs. All of life is a journey, and learning something new, seeing something from a different perspective enriches us all.

A beautiful post Paula. There’s something strangely familiar about the curiosity of the child… đ
