Kindness – impromptu post

“Your greatness is measured by your kindness; your education and intellect by your modesty; your ignorance is betrayed by your suspicions and prejudices, and your real caliber is measured by the consideration and tolerance you have for others.”

    • A bad week (a very bad day), but nothing much. Thank you for caring, Jo. The posts will go on as scheduled (guest and mine) despite obstacles. xx

      • There to be overcome but it’s a struggle at times. Hugs, darlin’. 🙂 My girl won herself a better job today so some things are going well but the underlying problem persists.

        • Thank you for telling me. I hope this new job will be less stressful for her, and leave her with more energy and strength to deal with the rest of stuff. I think of you even when I don’t manage to visit. Hugs

  1. Terrific quote and beautiful music choice, though it struck me as a bit melancholy. Reflective of mood?

  2. Ce chien est l’image même de la gentillesse, il te connaît pour te faire un sourire pareil ? 🙂
    Bises à toi Paula

  3. Please do me the kindness of telling me what the music is that you chose for this post, dear Paula!

    • Sam the boy was very cooperative and kind, and so was his master that I met by accident in a park – never seen them before. Uday, thank you for seeing this post which is important to me 🙂

  5. This is such an excellent quote and I have posted it this thursday on my Proverbial Thursday post featuring profound proverbs and quotes. Thanks again for permission to share. It is something I will try to do each day…. not a bad recipe for life, is it? The dog is beautiful and animals can often reach us when people can’t!
