Black & White Sunday: Leading Lines

Leading lines are lines within an image that lead the eye to another point in the image, or occasionally, out of the image. Anything with a definite line can be a leading line. Fences, bridges, even a shoreline can lead the eye. I look forward to seeing your contributions to this Black & White Sunday challenge. Anything in monochrome is acceptable, even with selective colouring or sepia if you fancy.

This is my last photo challenge in 2015. Though I am here and working through this festive time, I imagine that many of you will be away celebrating with family and friends, so we’d better leave new challenges for the new year. Peaceful and cheerful holidays to all of you!

P.S. Please, check out Scheduled challenges page to see what is coming in 2016, and let me know if you’d be interested in hosting a photo challenge with a theme of your choice on this blog.

Now, here are the offerings from my generous co-bloggers. You know the drill. Hit the link above images and view them in their respective posts:

  3. Almost perfect lines Paula. All converging, and despite the coming storm above, give an impression of peace and freshness. Was that taken (around) where you live?

Tienes familia cerca? Aparte de “hubby”¿

  5. No Special on Christmas Eve, Paula? It’s ok- I’ll check the schedule. 🙂 This is blissful! In case our paths don’t cross, I’d better leave a hug or two. Much too early for merry Christmas!

    • Many thanks Marilyn. I love both of your entries. The second suits this winter solstice more. How are you doing on the darkest day in the year?
