Black & White Sunday: Moody

It does not necessarily mean gloomy, or grumpy like the critter in my photo; moody can be also interpreted as temperamental, pensive, introspective as I am at the change of the year , changeable, volatile.

If you don’t have an emotional child or a fretful pet, show me some wonderful moody skies or landscapes, or anything that fits the bill.

2015 was a difficult year for many of us. I wish for 2016 to change the global mood, to bring us more stability, good health, positive thinking and all round happiness.

This is my first post and challenge in 2016. Next Sunday my first guest challenger is hosting, but before that we have a Thursday’s Special scheduled that I hope you will enjoy. As usual please check out Scheduled challenges page.

Don’t forget to leave links to your posts, if you decide to join. Happy 2016!

  1. What an absolutely wonderful photo, every hair and claw sharp and clear. And so unexpected. I was anticipating a Paula moody sky. How silly of me not to expect to be surprised.

          1. Oh that is right – but this was the good spoil! And I have to tell u about a word mix up with our Brazil friend Lucas – a quick story with the word nasty and it can ha e a couple meanings
            – his English is pretty good and he loves our pop music and so “nasty” to him means “sexy” but we use “nasty” as an adjective for gross! So sometimes out loud he would clarify – and I even have it on video with him saying “Nasty meaning bad….” Lol

            1. I would love to hear a Brazilian speak English 🙂

              1. Well as u I am sure u know he speaks Portuguese and Spanish – and he got a kick out of my Spanglish! Anyhow – this is why I was so excited to follow your language blog for a little while – – but I do not have the mind for a lot of languages – I mean maybe I could really really work at it – but ever since 8th grade German class I did better in math and English – so I think it is a “me” thing – like summer of 2012 I watched this little boy every other week – and we were busy driving everywhere so I played “french” lessons – but I did not really advance much whereas his dad later thanked me for exposing him because he retained much! Lol
and I guess that goes with being human – so I extra appreciate those of you who have this language talent and gift!

                1. Thank you, Yvette. I am not really active on my other blog, but I think it would be shame to delete it after so much work I had put into it. I have pain in my arm cause I work very long hours and I can’t afford to spend my free time blogging as much.

                  1. Yes I understand – and I think that language one was a shirt term blog front the start – and it is a good resource to leave up and out there! 😏🌸
And sorry about the pain in your arm – and glad u came back to blogging but I am praying it does not pull from your health! But it sounds like u have good boundaries in place. So one day at a time – and I have a feeling 2016 has many good things in store!
