Woohoo! Lovely, lovely, lovely scene. It looks so quiet.
Just the way I like it. Tusen takk, Max 🙂

what a beautiful shot bringing seasons together and wonderful colors. So serene.
Thank you my dear 🙂 Autumn is my season of choice always.
This is absolutely beautiful. Your choice of music along with your photo. What a sense of peace. Thank you! I am inspired by your photo to paint now. 😀 ((xoxoxo))
Thank YOU, Eva. I am happy to hear you will paint now 🙂
Pingback: WPC: Seasons (Houses) | Chris Breebaart Photography / What's (in) the picture?
Paula, I think my home is right up the road from yours. I can almost see it in your beautiful shot.
😀 Thanks, Janet. In reality I live on the sixth floor of a skyscraper and have been looking at the gray sky all day long.
In reality we live in a rental house in a suburb of Chicago and, although it’s unseasonably warm and sunny today, the wind is ferocious. However, my heart certainly lives in the mountains!
Then we are definitely neighbours 🙂
Neighbors of the heart, one of the very best sort.
Wow, Paula, that is absolutely gorgeous! 😀
🙂 Cheers, Linda!
Eccezionale! Che meraviglia…..
Grazie per averla pubblicata!
Ciao Anna 🙂 Buona seratta e ti ringrazio tanto sai.
This photo is absolut stunning.
Many thanks, Lena 🙂
Thanks, Michele 🙂 I was just thinking about your challenge 😀
Funny! I literally just put on my weekend to-do list: email Paula pic and bio for challenge and start thinking of challenge pics/write up!
😀 And they say telepathy does not work! HA 🙂
It does! If I could attached a photo, I’d show you my little “weekend to-do” list. Within in minutes of seeing your comment! Now, if we could just harness this power to stop evil and world hunger and bad politics….
To put it to good use…. if only….
“Neighbours of the heart” – what a lovely concept to match a superb photo with so many things I love: reflections, high peaks with snow, ripples, autumnal colours. Maybe I’ll see them in reality in Zakopane! But I certainly won’t capture them so exquisitely.
Zakopane should be beautiful. I was going to go there but the bad weather made that holiday very short for me. Thank you, Meg. I am happy you like the scene.
Surreal beauty, Paula! We should all have a place like this to call home. (maybe leaving out the snow for mine 🙂 ) What a shot!
I sense a happier Paula these days.
Oh dear Jo, thank you, and I so wish your “sense” was right, but I am not doing well at all, but trying to distract me. I should be hopeful despite everything. Have a good night. Appreciate your visit a lot.
Carry on with the distractions! They’re a thing of joy to all of us, and maybe you’ll come out of the other side soon.
Wishing you better health, hon. 🙂
So beautiful… 🙂
Absolutely agree 🙂 Merci mon Drake!
Simply beautiful Paula.
🙂 Isolated beauty. Thank you, Debbie.
joli tableau naturel et quels reflets !
🙂 Je suis d’accord avec toi Marc. Bon weekend!
merci Paula,on week end aussi
l like the view…
Tant pis, je ne te dirai jamais ou il est 😀
Il faut toujours garder un jardin secret. 🙂
Did you listen to Ludovico Einaudi’s “Nuvole Bianche” played on the harp?
Yes. Lovely. Quite appropriate to listen to, while sitting on a wooden deck looking at the lake and mountains… “Nuvole”? Nuvole… Clouds? White clouds? Ah. Holding a glass of Riesling or gewürztraminer in your hand. (Or any local wine that you may have over there) 😉
Des nuages blancs oui. Can’t have alcohol now; had one tooth pulled out.
Nossa Senhora! Vc tem que fazer algo. Alguma macumba, o Candomblé to get rid of all those troubles. Que te mejores.
😀 what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. I’m super strong now.
Very strong! (But I still hope that series will stop. Right now) 😉
What a glorious spot to call home! Great shot Paula!
A stunning image Paula. I love it.
Stunning place you call home Paula and love the music to listen to the seasons go by.
There is a lot to love about this capture but the sum total is this: Tranquility. Lovely photo Paula~John
Autumn is also my favourite season Paula and your photo is perfect for this challenge. I dream of autumn coming here in Oz while I struggle with the heat and humidity of our summer.
I can totally identify with that, Pauline. That’s one of the reasons I like spending summer holidays (which are usually only 10 days long) high up in the mountains to get away from the summer heat in the city. Heat on the asphalt is the worst.
My travelling was usually timed around weather zones, but I will be home for a while now so will just have to put up with the heat, but only a few more weeks and it will start to cool down.
🙂 I have to agree with you.
Absolutely beautiful photo, Paula.
It’s a place of magic, and the weather cooperated. Many thanks, Draco.
There they are. Your beautiful crags and cliffs around your home.
Yes, about 5 hours drive from my home :D. I live in a skyscraper in the centre of the city.
Wow. What a shot. Breathtaking. Magestic. Love.
Beautiful symphony! Thank you for this.
