Thursday’s Special: Inflated
Inflated is a word that lends itself to quite a few interpretations:
-
Blown up, puffed out
-
Raised, escalated
-
Exaggerated, overstated, embellished
-
Pompous, pretentious
Use these or some other meaning of inflated to show it in picture.

This is Romeo. He is so full of himself.
This is my challenge for this Thursday. I look forward to seeing your interpretations and participating posts. Happy Thursday!

P.S: The deadline for this challenge is 17th May. Please, read this notice.

Oh, I do like Romeo!
Brilliant match for your theme, Paula, and the music has me smiling

🙂 The song is in Istrian dialect (part of Croatia). It is even funnier when one understands the lyrics. Thank you for lending your ear, Debs.

Astonishing image. His surrounding are as beautifully capture as his inflatedness. May you only encounter inflated frogs – inflated people have no charm!

Very true my dear 🙂 I found Romeo in a place that you also know – in the botanical garden of Zagreb. Thank you for your kind comment, Meg.

Even if my comment is totally illiterate? Try “surroundings” and “captured”! I could visit the botanical gardens in Zagreb a million times and I’d never get a shot like this.

A fun one to come home to, Paula. 🙂 I’ll be a day or two getting back on track and you’ve already seen my Bristol Hot Air Balloons so I may not make the deadline. Hope you’re well, and not too stressed? I see you’ve been making more blog work for yourself. 🙂 I’m ambivalent about your idea, hon. Often there are several entries that I totally love and usually very different from each other. I don’t think I want to vote on them.

I just read through the comments on the post, Paula, and I appear to be out of step, but that’s fine. I have to be honest with you. I didn’t leave my comment over there to save me time, but I did note you’re just as overworked as ever. No surprise there. Hugs, darlin’ 🙂

Love your Romeo. Hope he finds his Juliet. My contribution is a bit different but somehow seemed to fit into the inflated definition, at least for people with a strange sense of humor. (Me) 🙂 https://3rsofretirement.com/2016/05/13/thursdays-special-inflated/
