And back with my contribution: https://bopaula.wordpress.com/2017/04/02/black-white-sunday-through-2/
This is one of my favourite shots from my week in Azerbaijan – but I’m still in the middle of reviewing, so more will probably emerge.
Were you there for work, or just pleasure and adventure?
Part work, but I added on a few days for adventure and took a trip north-west to see Sheki and a few sites en route. I really enjoyed it.
If only I’d known! Today’s picture would be perfect for this 🙂 Maybe I’ve got another tunnel somewhere. It’s been a tunnel sort of week.

Where WERE you when you took that? On the shore on a sidewalk looking under the bridge? Great angle.
It’s all Greek to me… Parallaxi Magazine comissioned an interesting documentary, “A Neighborhood At the Limit.” The soundtrack is composed by Manos Milonakis. I believe it is entirely shot in Thessaloniki. Sadly no subtitles… Oh, and it goes without saying breathtaking photography as always!
Fantastic perspective Paula. Did you get your feet wet? Or is that sand I can see at the bottom edge?
It’s the sand, my dear Meg 🙂 :D. xx
This is a brilliant photo, it looks as if it goes on for ever. Did you have to dodge the waves?
I’m back and it’s Sunday, https://lucidgypsy.com/2017/04/02/black-and-white-sunday-3/
No, I was pretty lucky. I just sat there and clicked. 😀 Thank so much, Gilly.

My Goodness, Paula…
What a photo!…….
Ciao Anna. Come stai? 🙂
Molto meglio , grazie Paula!
Wonderfully and dramatically surreal, Paula. In fact it’s taking me to some Sci Fi place – through my screen into another world.
😀 Thank you, Tish. I have been out whole day enjoying the sunlight. Can’t wait to see what you have for me. xx
Glad you were out in the sun. The best thing for all of us – sunshine.

wow Paula- what a wonderful capture. I love the black and white- the texture that comes through. Great music too- Manos Milonakis? Wonderful.
Here’s my take this week https://dailymusing57.com/2017/04/02/black-white-sunday-through/
Have a good day
Thank you again, Lisa. Wishing you a great week!
I’d like to chuck this one in here:
A shot through a window, but not any old double glazing
How seriously cool is this shot? My goodness!
Well done, you.
Oh, love it! I shall find something of mine for this challenge……

That is a great shot – underneath a pier? Where? I love the perspective, how it appears endless.

the texture really comes through. nice perspective.
A good solid pier, but no clues where. Great shot, Paula! I’ve spent the day surrounded by cistus and my feet hurt 🙂 🙂
It’s in Viareggio, Jo, in Tuscany 🙂 Take care!
Stunning, so manmade and yet so painterly because of the texture on the columns and the shifting light on them and on the water.

What a word for a challenge Paula. I was stumped at first so I hope my photos do your word justice.
Always a pleasure to have you participate.
A massive vibe picture.
Glad you like it.

Great work, Paula. Saturated with detail.
Thank you very much, Allan. It’s nice to hear from you again. I hope you have been well 🙂
This is really good. You can almost feel the weight of the bridge. The composition and grey tones makes it feel very heavy.
Thank you. Your opinion matters 🙂
Hope you enjoy my contribute…
Si! Molto 🙂
Tesoro , grazie…

Wow, love the lighting and contrasts in your shot. Mine is also on the waterfront, but not as dramatic https://sonyavdg.wordpress.com/2017/04/08/black-white-sunday-through/
