    I love that last image – I would love to sit on one of those benches right now.

    I love the generosity of this challenge! So many ideas to play with. And as always your photos epitomise their word and each gives special pleasures: the colours and geometry of projecting: the dignity and detail of commanding: the serenity of pastoral, so beautifully contained by your composition; the cleverness of convex; and the light and shadow and clouds and mountains a whole symbology of communal.

    This one was a challenge…Croatian, Chakavian dialect, (Along the Adriatic, explains popularity in Italy). “Ja san rojen da mi bude lipo” (I am born to have a good life by Tonči Huljić and Madre Badessa). Simple folk lyrics about being in love, and praying to mother Mary to have the attentions of the loved one. There is an innocence in folk music I miss. A beautiful piece Paula thank you for sharing as always.

      Yes, it is the eagle owl – the most impressive of owls 🙂 It was caged in and was not allowed to fly, but I asked the falconer to open the gate to her cage. Thank you for your nice visit, and your beautiful offering. I am having an OK week, busy, with a touch of hay fever and other nuisances, but in high spirits. xx

      Ah, mon hibou – c’est mon prefere. Je vais bien (regulaire) – c’est la saison de fatigue et allergie. Je n’aime pas le printemps depuis toujours. Mes saisons preferes sont autonne et hivers 😀 Et toi cher ami, comment vas-tu, ton grand-fils?

        Désolé pour les allergies. (L’Automne arrivera bien un jour) Ça va bien. Le petit-fils (c’est drôle, n’est-ce pas? Grand-père, petit-fils, alors qu’en anglais c’est pareil. Le portugais Neto est plus facile) le petit-fils grandit bien. Marche presque, et est tout-à-fait charmant.
