Paula I was so excited to show our one year old grand daughter just yesterday that the buds are appearing o nthe leaves. She was very excited watching the Canada geese that have now landed on the river banks. We are seeing glimmers of spring.
What a sensational color. So rich and warm. My flowers are not quite blooming yet. It has been cold and rainy, so we have just the early flowers and nothing else yet. Maybe next week? hard to tell. It’s pretty chilly for this time of year.
Oh sorry to hear that. I thought you would be ready for vernal by now. Give it a day or two and sunshine will come. In any case you have time till Wednesday 🙂
Paula such beautiful pink in the blossoms against the background, along with the music pure beauty. Spring is here though the temps remain like winter!
Your photo of the flowering quince is beautiful Paula, lovely composition and lovely soft background. I see spring is not your favourite season, but it is mine and I have already been busy photographing the new life springing [sic] up around me. I shall find something a little different for you tomorrow 🙂
Have a lovely restful weekend

Beautiful japonica, Paula. I’m posting my spring pix in a rush as I’ll be away from the internet for a few days. Cheers for now. http://wp.me/pKVAM-2lz
I love your photo – I have kept it open for the past couple of days and keep going back for one more look. My visit to The Hidden Lake Garden earlier this week provided the perfect post for Vernal. Thanks for the prompt.

How can you not find beauty in spring? (Answer: If it’s autumn!!!) your photo is the very essence of spring and of pink. That background is amazing.
