These are some of the most beguiling images of Venice that I have ever seen, Paula. You have excelled. Maybe the last is my favourite but they are all beautiful. Thank you! 🙂 🙂
I was so eager to join in this time that I forgot to appreciate! You’ve just shot Venice up to the top-ish of my travelling list again. Maybe after Scotland’s western islands. The first and last photos are my favourites for their wonderful composition, and the last one for its many interpretations of “continual”
Well done Paula. Brilliant.
All 5 words for venice and in such different ways. I like the first as it’s a favourite spot, but St Mark’s Square is excellent too. In fact, they are all brilliant.I feel as though I’m back there right now 🙂
This means a lot, Debbie, especially from you 🙂 I can see you in my mind wandering the streets with your camera(s) hanging on your neck looking for angles you haven’t done before. This is what Venice does to me, makes me look further and further and always I see it with “a new set of eyes”. Thank you.
Almost like visiting Venice. What a wet world! It is beautiful, but I can’t help but imagine how many kind of dehumidifier you’d need to keep the dampness in check. Glorious, ancient … and full of water!
Nice selection of pictures, Paula… this time all the shots, while depicting different concepts, relate to each other and match very well.
Excellent job 🙂
Hi Paula. I’m so thrilled to come across this post. I have just booked a trip to Venice for my family. Coming from the South, we’ve decided to see the new year in, in Venice – Winter in Venice. So when I saw your pictures, it felt like the universe was talking to me. I love your pictures and your interpretations and look forward to any others you may post. Chevvy.
Thank you so much Paula. We’ll be spending 6 nights in Venice not far from St Mark’s square and I’d like to optimise our time there. I will certainly look at your links and may come back with questions if I have any. I did a post on Malta earlier this year. I haven’t been there before but was just expressing the dream. I’ve now booked to go so we’ll be going to Venice from Malta. I’ll be sure to visit your blog later and thanks again! Have a lovely day!😀

Paula as Jo said these may be some of the most extraordinary photos of Venice that I have ever seen. The continual one really grabbed my heart. I hope you don’t mind that I have joined your challenge with a rather unusual entry. The continual rush of water while perched at the top of Victoria Falls. https://traveltalesoflife.com/2017/06/02/angels-pool-victoria-falls/
Wishing you an excellent weekend!
Yes, came across … your Thursday Special challenge … fantastic images from Venice!!! There is a lot of beauty in Venice, but it has never been on my bucket list. I fancy this challenge – so here is my entry _ http://wp.me/p293Pw-eQo – I wish you pleasant weekend.
Jaspa, thank you so much for these words. I’m having very busy and stressful weeks which leaves me just about time to post and link and I can’t see the sites l like 😦
