BLACK & WHITE SUNDAY: SHAPE
It’s been a while since I posted a Black & White Sunday. This time the theme is SHAPE. Shape is a great theme for any photo challenge, but I think it lends itself best for a monochrome interpretation. You have a week to respond. The next B&W Sunday will be in two week’s time with combined “after and before” theme (one shot in colour and black and white). Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday!

I like the way you composed the shot with the disused fountain reminiscent of a butterfly.

It’s a pool … and that’s a butterfly, right? Now, all it needs is a butterfly garden in the middle somewhere. Lovely. I hope you are feeling better!

It used to be a fountain I think, but is now a pool where I was hoping to see a frog. Thank you so much for caring, Marilyn. I am trying to take it easy.

Great shot, Paula. My first impression was an angled 4-leaf clover! Second, a butterfly! A photo for thought! Love the music, too. AND here is my contribution to this challenge! https://livingwithmyancestors.wordpress.com/2017/10/17/black-white-sunday-shape/

All of the images I explored for this particular challenge seemed to have multiple shapes which often times created one shape…not this one, I just liked all the shapes of the soap bubbles. Is your image a water fountain? It seems as though it is set in the country which is interesting in that the fountains I have seen are within a city/town. Thanks for this challenge and again, I’m glad you are back.

very nice fountaine. not a setting (rural) I would expect to find a fountain. not only is the shape attractive, but the steps add an interest and comfortable space to sit.
