#2 SALUBRIOUS They are out of season, but still it is worth reminding about health properties of figs that are great as dry fruit as well.
#3 EARMARKED – feel free to interpret it the way you like. It does not have to be literal as in my interpretation. (Thank you, Rina!)
#4 INFLUENTIAL – Here is a great mural in Barter Bookshop featuring some of the greatest minds of their time. I didn’t resize the image so that you can see it in full size and check out the names and faces 🙂
#5 FUN-LOVING – this is a part of a mural in my neighbourhood that reminds me to take a load off and have some beer.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my selection of words and images. As usual for this theme, you can do one word, or more or all five. It’s up to you.
To join the Thursday’s Special photo challenge you are supposed to:
Make a photo post on today’s theme, before next Thursday.

You usually have at least one word that sends me off to pick up a dictionary 🙂 I chose to do some lateral thinking this week: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2017/11/02/another-fiver/ Love the Jersey cow, had to think twice what I was looking at with your monochrome of a passion fruit (it is a passionfruit, is it not?), but gourmet/glutton that I am I like the beer-swilling, winged beer best.
Yep, salubrious (I’ve heard it but never used it actively and I went to the thesaurus to make sure I understood it – I know it means more healthy, beneficial, wholesome). I used it not quite as intended in opposition to the abandoned nest. Also “influential” – I was looking for a picture where a smaller river flows into a bigger one (confluence – influence) but I had nothing I could use. So I went one step further with “flowing water” – I hope that the image of the boy strangling a swan is not per se influential.
What a great set of images, Paula. And that fig – still so luscious even in monochrome. Am now going to have to raid the fridge for the last scrape of Greek fig jam that I know is hiding in there somewhere. Hope your hand is improving. It is all too easy to strain things once you’ve done it the first time.
I’m especially taken with ear marked. As if the cow is wearing earrings. Quite a bovine fashion statement. Hoping life has calmed down a bit for you Paula.
Beautiful images Paula-I do love the cow’s face, but sad to see her earmarked. The sculpture is quite beautiful. I am busy with a family wedding this weekend but hope to find the time to join in, just may take a few extra days! Hope you feeling well
Wonderful to have you back again, Paula, though my presence here is fleeting. I was talking to some people who were recently in Croatia and loved it and I thought of you. Hope you make a steady recovery and sending hugs. 🙂 🙂
That Bologna sculpture is amazing, but my favorite here is that wonderful cow. 😀
All five are captured a impressive way. 🙂

It is a fig! Did you have any new words to look up this time? I did not quite understand your comment 🙂

A fig! Of course, we don’t get them that often fresh but I would have realised it in colour 😉
