  3. Splendid shots, Paula. Condensed particularly caught my eye though – condensed spatially, vista-wise and the depth of colours. Also sempiternal is a very mystical sounding word. I must go and ponder on it 🙂

  8. I love your photos Paula. The cormorants or shags are lovely, the feel of the water gushing over me is wonderful in the last one. I love Burano too. Hopefully I’ll be back with my selections for my all time favourite photo challenge.

  27. Great words, great images! I love your centred view down a Burano street – gorgeous! And such beauty from Slunj.
    And sempiternal is fantastic – I had to check its meaning. Very interesting that it is so similar to eternal in both sound and meaning but the 2 words have different roots. Language is always fascinating
