THURSDAY’S SPECIAL: PICK A WORD IN AUGUST – YEAR 4

Hello and welcome to the August edition of the Pick a Word photo challenge. I hope that again you will find the offered words inspirational and intriguing and that you will respond as creatively as you did in July.

Here is what I have come up with:

ursine

earthward

coeval

connubial

adorned

You may have noticed that I don’t provide definitions of the selected words. I omit to do that on purpose so that you can make your own research and find other synonyms. I enjoy that process a lot, and naturally I think that you might too.

Once again you are free to chose either of the provided words, or more or all of them.

Have fun!

  1. Fascinating shots, Paula, each with a story of their own. I’m so glad you still find time to post. I’m just back from a lengthy UK trip and easing back into my Algarve life. 🙂 🙂 Nice music, too. Stay well!

  15. Paula, thank you for introducing me to ursine, coeval, and connubial. 🙂 I must admit that there are times when your photographs awaken a bit of envy…the beauty, diversity, architecture, and history of Europe is amazing.

    1. I can understand that, Brenda, though this time I have shown very little of Europe’s history.

  26. Wonderful words and photos, Paula. I always learn something from your challenges. 🙂 I had a hard time with Ursine. Is a panda really a bear? It was as close as I could come. Hope all is well. https://3rsofretirement.com/2019/08/27/thursdays-specials-august-words/
