THURSDAY’S SPECIAL: PICK A WORD IN AUGUST – YEAR 4
Hello and welcome to the August edition of the Pick a Word photo challenge. I hope that again you will find the offered words inspirational and intriguing and that you will respond as creatively as you did in July.
1 – This is my Stonehenge Teddy camping in Austrian Alps
2 – A view downward from Cabo Girao, Madeira
3 – A pair of horses
4 – Ornament on a building in Vannes
5 – A nice hairdo
You may have noticed that I don’t provide definitions of the selected words. I omit to do that on purpose so that you can make your own research and find other synonyms. I enjoy that process a lot, and naturally I think that you might too.
Once again you are free to chose either of the provided words, or more or all of them.

Fascinating shots, Paula, each with a story of their own. I’m so glad you still find time to post. I’m just back from a lengthy UK trip and easing back into my Algarve life. 🙂 🙂 Nice music, too. Stay well!
Welcome back again, Paula – so glad to see you! Now you had me looking for words again…and you know I love it. Beautiful images as always, some very special ones…the earthward…I will be back within some days. Hope you are well and life is good to you.
Paula, thank you for introducing me to ursine, coeval, and connubial. 🙂 I must admit that there are times when your photographs awaken a bit of envy…the beauty, diversity, architecture, and history of Europe is amazing.
So glad you have been able to set my favourite photo challenge Paula. I have been waiting and you have made me think for these words. I hope I have found the right photos for you xx http://bushboy.blog/2019/08/26/pick-a-word-in-august/
Hi Paula, good to see you again through your photos! I like the words, the thrill of finding images to them. If I got some, I just add a pingback to your page? H

I can understand that, Brenda, though this time I have shown very little of Europe’s history.

Wonderful words and photos, Paula. I always learn something from your challenges. 🙂 I had a hard time with Ursine. Is a panda really a bear? It was as close as I could come. Hope all is well. https://3rsofretirement.com/2019/08/27/thursdays-specials-august-words/

I loved your images Paula, and there are some great words there. I had to look up coeval.
And I’m taking my time in working out how to interpret them.
We have coeval here: https://travelwithintent.com/2019/08/28/coeval-bovines/
And ursine here: https://travelwithintent.com/2019/09/05/ursine-performance-in-valencia/
I hope to see you back again soon with another great challenge
