WOW – WORDS OF WISDOM – Y23 #7

It’s the last Wednesday in July, so I am posting a quote for my WoW challenge (words of wisdom), where you are invited to post a quote and to pair it with a photo that you took. In my today’s edition I am posting a sketch of mine as I photographed it. Not feeling very inspired, but rather sleepy I am sharing a coffe quote by anonymous.

P.S. I am sorry I did not do this straight away. My sketch was inspired by Black Ivory Coffee even though I haven’t tasted it yet. It is the World’s rarest, most expensive and delicious coffee and elephants are to thank for that.

    I’m currently reading a book where reality has definitely kicked in and wondering whether to read to the end or ditch it now. I seldom do that, but you know, life doesn’t last forever. Hope the coffee didn’t leave you sleepless 🤗🩵

      It’s easy. In my “book” it is “ditch it” even though I studied literature, if it makes you more miserable than you already are – ditch it.

    Get the elephant off your cup and start gulping!! I love your picture. I didn’t use any of them but I have a handful of coffee&elephant photos in my archives. Why are elephants so often associated with coffee? The African connection seems strong but is that all there is to it?

    Thanks for the enlightenment. I get it. I only knew of a similar “method” involving Asian civets. And I’m not sure I want to try it.

        Wiki says Asian Palm Civet – but I have no direct knowledge. The coffee is called Kopi luwak.
