Lost in Translation

WOW – WORDS OF WISDOM – Y23 #10

I don’t know if today’s words are wise or not, but these are the lyrics of one of my favourite bands, paired with an old merged photo of mine.

The song is titled “Bying new soul”, by Porcupine tree:

“I still wave at the dots on the shore
And I still beat my head against the wall
I still rage and wage my little war
I’m a shade and easy to ignore.

    It’s a little disconcerting because your nose is squished, Paula, but it works beautifully and I love the music.

      Well noted, Joe, but I like it nevertheless, though my natural nose is much less bumpy, shished or scaled 😀

        I like it too, Paula. I’m probably just sensitive to bumps because I took an enormous one to the head last Friday. Collided with our very hard stairwell floor. 6 stitches and a very colourful face. But I was lucky!

          Jo, I am so sorry to hear it. What caused your falling? Did you have a concussion. Bump will go away and stitches are on the scalp, righ? So it wont be noticed under your pretty hair. And bruising will go away too.

            We spent a great week around Toulouse, came home via a bomb alert at that airport and I picked up some kind of bug. Was rushing to the toilet to be sick when I tripped. The ambulance men were lovely though 🤣💙
