WOW – WORDS OF WISDOM – Y25 #1

Hello and welcome. I am not in the right state of mind to write a nice welcoming intro for my challenge Words of Wisdom that you are already familiar with. Sometimes I wonder how many stresses life can throw at us … and all I could come up with right now is this quote:

If you are interested in pairing a quote (wise or not, written by somebody famous, or anonymous or even your own words on any subject) with a photo that you took, I will be glad to see your entries for this challenge.

  1. When you look at what some people have to survive, and are in fact surviving right now, Paula…? Some people are made of sterner stuff than others, but many of us survive when we are put in that position. I just hope never to be tested to that extent. Hoping life becomes less stressful for you.

  3. A powerful quote. And I hope you can gain the power that you need to confront the adversities you face. And that Adversity will soon start to back away …

  5. This is a great photo of a lonely tree clinging on. And sometimes that’s all we can do: clinging on. Sometimes distraction can help and I’ve been known to use wordpress just for that very purpose! Hang in there, Paula! 🤗

  7. Glad to join this nice challenge, to start this year… it’s always a lovely idea, to bring together quotes, photos and thoughts. I have somehow been doing it on my blog for quite some time now 🙂 This month I have also paired two challenge themes in my contribution, both being at the end of the month… I hope you enjoy it, here it is, https://starrysteps.wordpress.com/2025/02/01/bright-green-against-sunny-white-for-last-on-the-card-and-words-of-wisdom-january-2025/

Your photo is delightful to look at… feels both near and far, that lovely sense of close remoteness in nature!

  8. Your introduction tells me you are in a time of crisis and are doing your best to stay strong. Whatever is behind this state of being, please take good care of yourself and reach out to those who love you.
