Welcome to Thursday’s Special photo challenge. Today’s theme is Blue Hour. It is my favourite time of the day for photo shooting. Hoping that you like this theme as much as I do, I look forward to seeing your entries ūüôā

Last Sunday for Black & White photo challenge we explored Darkness and Light by focusing on moody lighting and shadows that add drama to¬†photography. Today I would like us to continue with dramatic captures, but through the use of bold colours. Show¬†us what effect placing red next to black can produce. The easiest way to obtain this is to shoot a red flower against a¬†black background, or a fiery sky with a silhouetted, darkened town, but there are so other many possibilities that I very much look forward to seeing in your entries. ¬†Today’s theme is RED and BLACK (my title was inspired by Stendhal’s famous novel: Le Rouge et le Noir).

Black & White Sunday: Cityscape

Do you prefer cityscapes in colour or in black and white? This one is a photo of Venice, a panorama to be exact, made by stitching several  frames.
