Spring flowers

Today I took forΒ  a walk my new Canon PowerShot G1 x and I am not showing off here.. I just want to share my frustration about the lack of software to edit my raw pics, so for the time being I am only taking auto mode shots. Are they any good? You’ll be the judge!

Espero leerte pronto y ver que has “postado”…

  2. First the photos. They are all pretty good, but #2 is my favorite. The blue sky contrasts nicely with the pink flowers.

Did your camera come with Canon’s Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software on the discs that came with the camera? I think it comes with all of Canon’s digital cameras, at least the ones that can shoot RAW anyway. I was able to get some pretty good results with it before switching to Lightroom 3 (soon to be LR4 πŸ™‚ ).

    • Thank you Jeff :). I got the software with my camera, but can use DPP from hubby’s so I am covered now.. the only thing that remains to be done is to learn how to use it :D. What camera do you use?

      • I still love and use the first camera I ever bought, four years ago this month actually, a Canon 40D. I’ve been eyeing the 7D, but just can’t seem to justify the upgrade yet. Plus getting it past my wife would be tough!
