A Word a Week Challenge: Music
While exploring Rome some months ago I stumbled upon an odd place situated in the park overlooking Piazza del Popolo. It was a sort of a tented restaurant with quaint charm to it, decorated with many not related artifacts and other decorative objects. There it was hanging against a window, an original Led Zeppelin guitar signed by the band members.
Please find attached their best known hit, and one of my favourite songs ever….

You can see the other entries to Sue’s challenge here.

Nice find Paula, but I’m sorry to say I can not and will not listen to that song. It is one of the most overplayed songs on the radio. It is one of those good songs that I simply can’t stand hearing because it is played so often. I can’t change the radio station fast enough whenever it comes on. 😀

You are forgiven, though it is not country!!!! 😀

No, at least not country. That would be torture, pure torture 😛

Can’t please everybody, Paula. I love it!
Not so classy but I used to like going to Hard Rock Cafes with my son, not so much to eat as to see what was hanging on the walls. (or ceiling)

It is a bit out of your way, but I suggest it warmly… prepare yourself for crowds of most inoportune tourist crowds while trying to take photos 😉

We’re thinking September/October — there are many little places my husband wants to re-visit … Cortona being one of them.

I’ve never been to Cortona, but there are so many places worth visiting in Italy… if you go to Rome which is a long trip to you, try to go to Pompeii and Amalfi coast…..

Yes, we’ll fly in to Milan, and the drive down … IF it happens as planned, that is. So many pictures to take LOL would like to bring a tripod for nightshots.

Yeah … imagine Castel San Angelo at night … and St. Peter’s Square!!! I know … it’s touristy and clichéish, but I really want to shoot those 🙂
But it’s the flight … I need to get some kind of bag for it, in order to check it in… I dunno…

Yep, they will look at you as if you were carrying a sniper :D. I remember crossing a Swiss border in a car carrying nordic poles (walking sticks) and they put us through an hour of torture ….

Oh gawd!!! I didn’t even think of that, and I LOATHE those security checks. They’re mostly arrogant and aggressive there!

Please don’t let this ruin your fun.. I almost went through a gyneco check for fighting with a nasty German security officer and I only fought cause our connecting flight to Italy was delayed and we almost missed the whole thing… Long story short, I have never run that hard in years on never ending Munich airport terminals.

Oh, I won’t let it ruin anything! 🙂
How I hate when you have to run like that! Had to do that on London Heathrow once … it’s so scary — the thought of missing the flight, and I’m not in any good condition for that kind I’d races LOL
